I try to be a good citizen of the web. This involves not passing off something as mine which is a work of others. Some pictures and graphics in my posts may not originate from me. If available, you can right-click on these pictures/graphics to determine their sources. I try to get pictures/graphics from sites that are free, or at least, do not explicitly forbid their use. If you, as the originators of these works, object to their use here, please let me know. Just don't send your lawyers after me. I am ready to cease and desist. You should also be aware that my hot-linking to your pictures/graphics consumes your bandwidth. If this is a concern, please also let me know. Otherwise, I thank you for your generosity. I appreciate your spirit of sharing the good stuff on your websites.
Comments left by readers in this blog are moderated for offensive materials, which may or may not be legally libelous. Comments are left in these blogs to reflect the diversity of views around a particular subject, even if I strongly disagree with those views and comments. To say that I "subscribe to and endorse" them because I leave them there is a ridiculous notion. Right-thinking and sensible people would agree with me. Otherwise, I will have to lock up anybody and everybody whom I disagree with, for otherwise, according to the "logic" of the argument, I am complicit with whatever other people do, even if I disagree with them.
This is not a political blog although it does comment on political events, personalities and policies of the day. This is part and parcel of life in Singapore. However, this blog does not support any political party or parties. If there is a comment to be made, it is made in the interest of Singapore and Singaporeans. To this extent, I hope that this blog is viewed as totally loyal in spirit and in content to Singapore. Majulah! Singapura!
